Objective

Experience

 Good skills and knowledge for monitoring and assessment of finfish and shellfish stocks, their associated environment, and the impact of fishing on ecosystems and the impact of environmental change on finfish and shellfish stock productivity.  Sound knowledge for biology and/or ecology of finfishes and shellfishes.  Excellent knowledge of the seafood quality control & quality assurance program at the processing plant with implementation of HACCP, GMP, SSOP etc.  Good skill and knowledge about general laboratory procedure i.e organoleptic evaluation, microbiological testing, titration etc. in connection with fish & fishery products.  Sound skill for conducting training programmes on different aspects of open sea cage culture.  Knowledge on Open Sea cage farming of fin fishes (ie. Seabass, Cobia, Pompano, Snapper, Seabream etc.) and shellfishes (green muscles, Lobster).  Skills for Biological analysis of Finfishes and shellfishes, Study of Population dynamics, Use of Fi-sat, ANOVA, SPSS software etc.  Good skills and knowledge in fish biology, cage culture of finfishes, monitoring of finfish and shellfish stocks.  Knowledge of emerging issues and innovation in aquaculture  Technology demonstration for open sea cage culture  Nursery rearing of finfishes in hatchery, Harvesting and marketing of cage cultured fish.  Excellent knowledge of quality control & quality assurance program used in seafood processing plant.  Excellent skills in writing technical level reports  Fully competent with all aspects of Microsoft Office packages – MS Word, Excel, Power-point, Outlook.
