Objective

1. To study the nutritional requirements of marine faunal larvae special reference to fatty acid biochemistry. 2. Standardize the bio-enrichment protocol enhanced with essential fatty acids through suitable live feed to marine fish larvae for better growth and survival during exogenous feeding period. 3. To concentrate on microalgae Culture, Rotifer culture, Enrichment of rotifer with microalgae, Yeast and DHA rich Marine Oil source, Nutritional profiling (Proximate composition, Lipid, Fatty acids, Amino acids, etc.,) Breeding of Marine Fishes

Experience

1. 2010 – 2016: Technical Assistant in CMFRI – Head Quarters, Kochi in ICAR research project entitled “Outreach activity on fish feeds” and concentrating on microalgae Culture, Rotifer culture, Enrichment of rotifer with microalgae, Yeast and DHA rich Marine Oil source, Nutritional profiling (Proximate composition, Lipid, Fatty acids, Amino acids, etc.,) Breeding of Marine Ornamental Fishes and Experiment were conducted to improve the growth and survival of Marine Ornamental Fish Larvae with different indigenous. Worked on separation of Nutritional profiling and Bioactive compound from Mangrove plants along South coast of India. 2. 2009 – 2010: Technical Assistant in CMFRI – Regional Centre, Tamil Nadu, India in culturing, maintenance and nutritional profiling of Microalgae which is useful in fish feed development. 3. 2007 – 2009: Technical Assistant in Ministry of Earth Science, Govt. of India – ICMAM research project entitled “Marine ecotoxicology studies on planktonic organisms for deriving seawater quality criteria” and concentrated on collection, identification and conduct toxicity tests with plankton.
