Mukul Arya

YOUNG PROFESSIONAL(COLDWATER RESEARCH DIVISION)

Objective

With the use of sustainable fishing methods, I wish to support and promote the protection of aquatic resources. When I worked for Triton Aqua Africa Ltd. in Lagos, Nigeria, I had a lot of experience cultivating Clarias gariepinus. Additionally, since 2020, I have worked with one of India's most renowned institutions for coldwater research. I now have a thorough understanding of cold water fisheries, especially the breeding habits of snow trout, rainbow trout, and mahseer fish. Moreover, I have participated in numerous institutional mahseer ranching initiatives across India. I want to work even harder for the sustainable utilization of these resources and the improvement of the socio-economic livelihoods associated with them now that I have this knowledge and the necessary practical experience.
