Many industrial sectors, such as fishmeal producers, mink farms and biodiesel producers are interested in using those wastes or byproducts as raw materials for their processes. The correct management of wastes will show economic benefits, or at a minimum the management costs will be covered. If we want to assure the future of the aquaculture, it is necessary to help the sector overcome the difficulties they have to face, from the economic and environmental point of view, and correct waste treatment is a first step in that direction.
