In 2011-2012 a part-time Executive Director received fees of US$ 12,000. No payments were made to other Directors between 2003 and May 2012. Many distinguished individuals have served as board members during the first decade. All provided their time and energy to AwF as volunteers; it was this that enabled us to claim zero management costs – something very unusual for any charity organization.
