Nominations for these are being accepted now. Finally the recent loss of Douglas Drennan is felt deeply by the USAS Chapter. Douglas was a Lifetime Member of WAS/USAS and served the chapter in many roles, from service on the USAS board as Vice-President (2002-2003), Director (2003-2005), President-Elect (2008-2009), Chapter President (2009-2010) and Immediate Past President (2010-2011). Doug also secured funding for USAS student tours for the past several years. His commitment to USAS speaks for itself as well as his support for students in aquaculture. Even at the time of his death, he was working hard coordinating speakers and events for Aquaculture America 2015.
