Dr. Martínez is a regular contributor to the major aquaculture journals and specialized magazines. Under his guidance, more than 60 students have performed their own research, adding to the diffusion of important technical knowledge. Some may remember him from one of his numerous presentations at an international aquaculture conference or class as a guest speaker in universities in Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Chile, Spain or Japan. His contribution to the development of aquaculture has been recognized by various public institutions in Mexico and now by our Chapter.
