The on-site response team plans to closely guide each fishery on management practices such as the response equipment operation and cessation of feed supply in the sea areas where high temperatures and red tides occur. In addition, the MOF is mobilizing all response equipment from the high temperature and red tide interest stage to prevent damage. A joint civil-public-military-police control fleet is formed to conduct preliminary joint cooperated simulation drills. While also organizing and operating an autonomous control fleet led by fishermen, the MOF plans to have an all-out control system against high temperatures and red tides. 4) Damage recovery and management stability support. To promptly dispose of dead fish in case of damage, there will be new support for the disposal equipment in Jeonnam-do and Jeju this year (450 million won). Local governments will continue to support securing burial sites for dead fish (21 places, 308,000 m 2 ) In addition, disaster insurance and subsidy are promptly paid. There will be additionally supported implements. 5) System improvement and technology dissemination. The ‘standard breeding guidelines’ (18 species, including flounder), which stipulates the proper density of breeding in aquaculture farms, are distributed to fishers to improve the practice of dense breeding. Fishermen can more conveniently report stocking, which is essential to receive damage recovery support. The MOF plans to operate an ‘On- site mobile office for fish stocking report’ from June to November. Upcoming Events ISFNF2020, Busan, December 12-17, 2021.
