Aquaculture is the fast growing food production sector playing a significant role in the economy in term of food, nutrition, income, and employment and foreign exchange earnings. Several times farmers facing disease and high FCR problems. Due to the concern about the problem of continuous disease outbreak, the SLBI, launched health products alternatives to maintain shrimp health and performance. The most widely researched alternatives include Minerals (Super mix), Probiotic (Nutri pro) and Zeolite. SLBI (Sheng long biotech India) animal health products are extensively used as a cheaper alternative to other competitor products. Super mix, to increase essential minerals in the pond (Ca, Mg,K.,etc.), play an important role in molting time and new shell formation, to avoid the partial moulting and to release from the stress of the animal, to use recovery form cramping of animal and to solve the white muscles problem in shrimp ponds. NutriPro enhance the decomposition of organic wastes, prevent forming of toxic gases like ammonia and sulfur hydrogen, develop and stabilize a good algal bloom verities, stabilize pH, helps in balancing ecology in the pond and inhibit the growth of harmful bacteria by substrate competition through which diseases are minimized in shrimp ponds. Zeolite improve aquaculture environment, absorb toxics like Ammonia (NH3) and Hydrogen sulfide (H2S), and produce health improvement in shrimp ponds. The findings of this AHP trial reports highlight and strongly recommended to: achieve good yield by maximizing both survival rate and growth rate, ensured essential cellular metabolism and it will leads to reduce FCR.
