Brown algae contains a chemical known as a major source of alginate and protein, vitamin C, tannin, iodine and phenol. Alginate contained in brown algae is able to enhance the immune system and resistance to bacterial pathogens. Sargassum sp. including the type of brown algae is not yet known effectiveness as an immunostimulant in fish nemo hybrid, therefore it is necessary for engineering activities on the use of extracts of Sargassum sp. as immunostimulant on the maintenance of hybrid nemo fish in floating net cages. Sargassum and Padina extract fed pellets until evenly mixed and then let ± 5 minutes to absorb after it is given to the hybrid nemo fish are reared.

The rate of growth of marine ornamental fish nemo long black hybrid photon with macro-algae extract treatment ranged between 0820-1425% with an average of 1.2% and the growth rate of heavy hybrid ornamental fish nemo treatment ranged from 1.820 to 2.600% with an average of 1,957% , Nemo fish survival rate of hybrid extract Padina sargassum and reached 99%.
