The study with aimed to know the efficacious of combined "three-valent" vaccine composed of three bacteria antigen to prevent of bacterial diseases on freshwater aquaculture has been carried out at laboratory level. The fish used in the study were catfish (representative of susceptible species against Aeromonas hydrophila infection), tilapia (representative of susceptible species against Streptococcus agalactiae infection) and giant goramy (representative of susceptible species against both, Mycobacterium fortuitum and A. hydrophila infection).

The treatment applied in the research are: (A). Proporsional formula of combined "three-valent" vaccine composed of three bacteria antigen (A. hydrophila-AHL0905-2, S. agalactiae-N14G, and M. fortuitum-31) at the ratio of 1:1:1 (v/v), (B). Non-proportional formula composed of three bacteria antigen at the ratio of 1:3:3 (v/v), and (C). Un-vaccinated group as a control. The vaccine was administered by immersion technique at the dose of 108 cfu/ml combined vaccine solution for 30 minutes. Vaccine efficacious was evaluated based on survival rate after challenge test against targetted pathogens, and then calculated the relative percentage survival (RPS).

The study results revealed that the RPS value of proportional combined vaccine on catfish against A. hydrophila-AHL0905-2 bacteria was 44.61%, and for non-proportional combined vaccine was 39.61%. The RPS value of proportional combined vaccine on tilapia against S. agalactiae-N14G bacteria was 43.30%, and for non-proportional combined vaccine was 40.00%. The RPS value achieved of proportional combined vaccine on goramy against M. fortuitum-31 bacteria was 17.86%, and for non-proportional combined vaccine was 7.14%. While, the RPS of proportional and non-proportional vaccine on goramy against A. hydrophila-AHL0905-2 bacteria was achieved at the same value amounted to 45.00%.
