The stocking of milkfish Chanos chanos broodstock G1 coming from natural seed was considered very necessary and urgent given the broodstocks milkfish producing eggs is expected to produce eggs continuously quality good. This is in addition to assisting the broodstocks who are not productive  are also intended to help people, especially Hatchery Complete (HL) which is in the management of its broodstock very  is in addition to assisting the broodstocks who are not productive are also intended to help people, especially Hatchery Complete (HL) which is in the management of its broodstock very varies. Production of candidate broodstock milkfish natural quality has started from the seed selection since 2011 at the Institute For Mariculture Research and Development (IMRAD) Gondol on the location of the nature  the seed (Aceh, Gorontalo and Bali) were selected gradually with SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) starting from seed selection, milkfish broodstock young up through the selection of individual farms to obtain natural milkfish broodstock quality that is expected to meet the needs of a complete hatchery in society.

Then the test objective in the form of prospective broodstock milkfish Chanos chanos total length averages : 59,75 ± 8,83 cm, initial body weight averages : 2,30  ± 0,71  kg. maintained in 3 ponds, pond size G = 5.760 m3; stocking density: 400 inds, pond K = 3,300 m3; stocking density: 300 ind, pond L = 6,050 m3; stocking density: 300 inds. Result of final observations indicated that the total length of the average final body : 66,68 ± 3,04 cm; final body weight on average: 3,29 ± 0,93 kg. Feeding 2 times / day, the type of commercial artificial feed in the form of pellets. The research objective to provide superior broodstock milkfish G1  through the results of individual selection with the output target of generating broodstock milkfish production capable of producing good quality eggs. The results showed that milkfish broodstock candidate reared in ponds can sustainably produced; survival rate 95% and has been handed over to the community of culturist.
