Extensive and semi-intensive Milkfish cuture using feed formulated enriched with catalyst enzymatic was done in Dukuhseti and Jepat Lor village, Pati District and Clering Village, Donorojo, Jepara District in 2015 with the aim of increasing the efficiency of milkfish culture production.

Milkfis culture is done on the farmer pond with total area of 1.1 to 1.3 hectares, stocking with 6.000-8.000 fingerlings/1.1 ha for extensive technology and 8,000 fingerlings/1.1 ha for semi-intensive technology. Commercial feed  enriched with enzymatic catalyst dose of 0.025% total feed was given 1x daily (12-13 pm). The corner of the pond plastic coated to avoid feed into the gap embankment. Water exchane was done everiday. Three unit of Paddle wheel (1.0 Horse Power) in the semi-intensive pond turned on every day between the hours of morning 23.00-06.

Harvesting of semi-intensive pond during a 75-day of culture obtained 6,000 kg/1.1 ha with a size of 3-4 fish/kg, Food Conversion Ratio (FCR) 1: 2, net profit of  Rp. 44.5 million.  Extensive ponds in the village Dukuhseti with 90 day of culture obtained 2,500 kg/1.1 ha size 3 fish/kg, FCR 0.88, and net profit of Rp. 31.9 million.  Extensive ponds in the Clering village with 90 days of culture obtained 2,500 kg/1.3 ha, with size of harvest 2 fish/kg, and a net gain of Rp. 27.45 million, -. The addition of the enzymatic catalyst in the feed in standard and low-protein feed in fish capable of improving the efficiency gains 3x the extensive pond.
