Job Details
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Alyangula, NT, for an Aquaculture Supervisor. The Aquaculture Supervisor will oversee daily operations, ensuring the health and growth of aquatic species, managing feeding schedules, and maintaining water quality. Responsibilities also include supervising staff, coordinating with suppliers, monitoring equipment performance, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations. The supervisor will also be involved in data collection and reporting, as well as implementing best practices to optimize production. The candidate must have working rights in Australia. Visa sponsorship is an option for the right candidates AND after probabtion period.Requirements
Experience in aquaculture operations, including species health management and feeding practices Skills in water quality monitoring and maintenance Supervisory experience, including staff management and coordination Knowledge of environmental and safety regulations related to aquaculture in Australia (NT) Strong organizational and data collection skills Ability to work independently and manage daily operations effectively Relevant qualifications, such as a degree in Aquaculture, Marine Biology, or related field, are advantageous Experience in working within an Aboriginal corporation or understanding of cultural sensitivities is a plusContact Information
