These responsibilities will be in your domain. • Leading the design, planning, and execution of ecological studies focused on fisheries and aquatic resources • Summarizing and analyzing data to draw conclusions on environmental conditions and using these results with inference to scientific literature to make defensible conclusions about the status of the environment and the potential effects of anticipated natural and anthropogenic influences. • Documenting these results in written reports and presenting the results to clients, regulators, Indigenous groups and stakeholders as part of regulatory and approval processes. • Working as a member of an interdisciplinary team collaborating with your colleagues to maximize work productivity and quality.

Requirements

• M.Sc. or Ph.D. in aquatic or fisheries science. • R.P.Bio. or eligible. • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a lead role within project teams in the environmental consulting sector. • Effective analytical and strong technical writing skills, and commitment to delivery high-quality reports and proposals. • Experience with Fisheries Act permitting and fish habitat offsetting an asset. • Excellent time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills. • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality, excellence, and ethics.
