Your Role:

As a Hatchery Employee at BlueLinked, you'll have the opportunity to play a crucial role in our marine restoration and research efforts. You'll be involved in all aspects of the hatchery, including algae and oyster farming. You'll be involved in the daily management of the hatchery and have the opportunity to contribute to the development of new techniques and methods.

 

Your tasks will include:

 

· Daily care and nutrition of marine organisms

· Maintain and clean growing facilities and equipment

· Monitoring water quality

Performing system measurements and control measurements

· Tracking growth data, survival rates and other relevant data

· Assisting with scientific experiments and research projects

· Collecting and analyzing samples for research

· Managing inventory and ordering supplies

· Prepare and transport organisms to field sites or other research facilities

Requirements

What We Are Looking For:

At BlueLinked we are looking for an enthusiastic candidate with:

 

· MBO or HBO level in (marine) biology, aquaculture, or a similar field

· Knowledge of general chemical analysis (in seawater circulation systems)

· Preferably experience with cultivation methods

· Passion for marine ecosystems and nature restoration
