Job Details
The successful candidate will be expected to enhance our faculty by addressing various aspects of aquaculture and fisheries management in the Department of Rangeland, Wildlife and Fisheries Management. This position will be an integral component of the Department’s research and teaching programs in aquatic resources management. Duties will include the development and leadership of an independent, extramurally funded, internationally recognized research program in basic and applied aspects of aquatic animal nutrition in support of aquaculture. The appointee will be expected to teach courses (graduate and undergraduate) related to their expertise in aquatic animal nutrition, as well as supporting courses such as principles of aquaculture and/or hatchery management. The typical course load will be one course per semester. The appointee will also be expected to supervise graduate and undergraduate students.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Applicant must have a Ph.D. in Aquaculture, Animal Nutrition, or a related field is required.
- Evidence of outstanding research and publishing capacities is required, along with the potential to establish and maintain strong teaching and graduate education programs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postdoctoral experience is preferred.
