Fish Farm Supervisor

Job Details

The position (Fish Farm Supervisor) will be outdoors solely and would require a person that’s motivated, hardworking and has ability to work with a team to keep and maintain a high standard of fish welfare on all farms while producing a high end product for the Irish and European markets.

This is a Full time position and only European citizens need apply. Training can be supplied to the right candidate.

Job Description

• Day to Day husbandry of Rainbow Trout Oncorhynchus mykiss.
• Enforcement of high quality control processes through out all farm operations.
• Fish health management
• Record keeping (Stock record)
• Quality standards to be upkeep and Audit preparation. ASC and Global Gap implementation
• Knowledge of fish farm machinery upkeep and operation.
• Maintenance skills in an outdoor setting
• Ability to understand English required for safety purposes.
• Communicate and Work as a Team Leader:
• Communicate with fellow employees to complete tasks and adhere to safety standards.
• Required for weekend cover on rotation basis amongst other colleagues
• Night and Alarm/out of hours cover on rotation between all staff.
• Miscellaneous Duties as assigned.
