Cage farm supervisor ( Aqua Culture)

We are seeking a highly skilled Cage Farm Supervisor to oversee our operations in the vibrant aquaculture industry of the UAE. As a Cage Farm Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, ensuring the highest standards of fish farming practices, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily activities on the cage farm.

Oversee feeding, monitoring, and health management of fish stock.

Ensure compliance with regulations and standards related to aquaculture practices.

Conduct regular inspections of equipment, cages, and facilities to ensure optimal functionality and safety.

Implement and maintain appropriate record-keeping procedures.

Train and mentor farm staff on best practices and safety protocols.

Monitor water quality parameters and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Coordinate with suppliers for the procurement of feed, equipment, and other supplies.

Maintain accurate inventory of stock and supplies.

Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving efficiency and productivity.

Requirements

Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Aquaculture, Fisheries, Marine Biology, or related field.

Experience: Minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in aquaculture, with a strong background in cage farming.

Preferable:

Previous experience with Sea Bream Farming is highly preferable.

Sound understanding of aquaculture principles, practices, and regulations.

Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends as needed.

Proficiency in MS Office suite and other relevant software applications.
