Shrimp Hatchery Manager

Position Overview

• Lead all hatchery operations to ensure consistent, high-quality shrimp larvae production while maintaining optimal water conditions and biosecurity protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee broodstock management, spawning, and larval rearing cycles
• Monitor and maintain critical water quality parameters (salinity, pH, temperature, dissolved oxygen)
• Implement biosecurity measures and disease prevention protocols
• Manage hatchery production schedules and inventory
• Train and supervise hatchery technicians
• Maintain detailed production records and reports
• Coordinate with growout operations for larvae transfer.
• Troubleshoot equipment and operational issues

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Marine Biology, Aquaculture, or related field, 3-5 years of experience in shrimp hatchery operations
Strong knowledge of shrimp biology and larval development
Experience with water quality management and testing
Leadership and team management skills
Fluency in Arabic and French (English preferred)
