Working independently on diverse projects, you will develop your expertise in a stimulating environment. YOUR DAILY LIFE IF YOU JOIN US As part of our business development, we are recruiting a Fisheries and Aquaculture Consultant for our subsidiary, Bureau Veritas Living Resources , on a permanent contract. Reporting to Etienne, Operations Manager, you will join the Bureau Veritas Living Resources team based in Cesson-Sévigné (35). You will work in France and internationally with our clients (project developers, funders, NGOs, companies, local authorities, public bodies). WHAT YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH Your mission is to participate in business development and the deployment of customized services in the fields of aquaculture and fishing. Your role is essential in supporting the transition of life sciences companies towards greater sustainability.

• 
  Carry out studies and technical assistance projects in the fields of aquaculture and fisheries.
• Ensure the formation of consortia and the implementation of study or technical assistance contracts.
• Prepare the various deliverables (reports, summaries and communication notes)
• Coordinate multidimensional projects and lead a network of partners
• Identify and respond to tenders and business opportunities in this specialty

Requirements

Frequent travel within France and abroad is required. YOUR SKILLS THAT WILL MAKE THE DIFFERENCE Are you comfortable managing multidimensional projects? This will allow you to effectively coordinate the various aspects of your assignments. Are you fluent in English? You will be able to work in this language during your international assignments. Do you have an established professional network in the maritime economy? You will be able to identify and develop new business opportunities. Do you have recognized expertise in coastal management and policy? You will bring significant added value to supporting our clients. We Can't Do Without You: Holding a minimum of a Master's degree (or equivalent) in socio-economics, public policy, or law, you have at least 5 years of experience in a consulting firm or a recognized organization related to the fishing/aquaculture sector. You possess an established professional network and recognized expertise in the fields of maritime economics, coastal management and policy, or more broadly, in projects with significant sustainability implications. Your customer service skills, interpersonal skills, autonomy, attention to detail, and organizational abilities will contribute to your success in this role. You are proficient in English, allowing you to work in that language; fluency in another language would be an added advantage. A valid driver's license (category B) is essential.
