  • Research in the field of aquaculture within the framework of the project
  • Preparing, conducting, and evaluating scientific experiments in the FishGlassHouse
  • Laboratory work in the project context (Circular Economy) with the target fish species African catfish, zander and rainbow trout
  • biochemical analysis of the sample material
  • Preparation of scientific manuscripts based on the data sets collected in the project regarding the fatty acid distribution in the fish samples.
  • Preparing, conducting and following up on workshops to present project results and the project closing conference

Requirements


  • Completed university degree (state examination, diploma, master's degree or comparable qualification) in aquaculture, marine biology, zoology or a comparable field with at least a good result.
  • Minimum level of physical fitness required for working in aquaculture facilities, e.g. lifting feed bags and fish.
  • sound knowledge of German and English, both spoken and written
  • Willingness to travel on business both domestically and internationally
  • Driving licence class B and the willingness and ability to drive service vehicles
  • Excellent time management skills, communication skills for presenting research results, and teamwork skills for working in interdisciplinary project groups.
