Job Details
- Research in the field of aquaculture within the framework of the project
- Preparing, conducting, and evaluating scientific experiments in the FishGlassHouse
- Laboratory work in the project context (Circular Economy) with the target fish species African catfish, zander and rainbow trout
- biochemical analysis of the sample material
- Preparation of scientific manuscripts based on the data sets collected in the project regarding the fatty acid distribution in the fish samples.
- Preparing, conducting and following up on workshops to present project results and the project closing conference
Requirements
Completed university degree (state examination, diploma, master's degree or comparable qualification) in aquaculture, marine biology, zoology or a comparable field with at least a good result.- Minimum level of physical fitness required for working in aquaculture facilities, e.g. lifting feed bags and fish.
- sound knowledge of German and English, both spoken and written
- Willingness to travel on business both domestically and internationally
- Driving licence class B and the willingness and ability to drive service vehicles
- Excellent time management skills, communication skills for presenting research results, and teamwork skills for working in interdisciplinary project groups.
