Land Based Sømna søker HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality) Coordinator

Job Details

As our HSE and Quality Coordinator, you will be a key person in the work to ensure a safe, health-promoting and sustainable working environment. You will be a driver for continuous improvement and contribute to strengthening our safety culture, both locally and towards global projects. You will be part of a larger HSEQ organization in the AKVA Group. Some travel is expected. The position reports to the Administration Manager (HSEQ).

Your responsibilities

• Coordinate and follow up on HSE activities
• Assist managers and employees in HSE-related issues
• Develop and maintain procedures, instructions and risk assessments
• Analyze incidents and deviations, and follow up with measures.
• Provide training and competence development within HSEQ.
• Ensure good documentation and reporting.

Requirements

We are looking for you as

• Have a great interest in HSEQ and want to develop further within this field.
• Has a proactive approach, a strong focus on detail and good analytical skills, combined with a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Have relevant education in HSE, technical subjects or equivalent.
• Has experience from HSE work in a production company or project organization (can compensate for lack of formal education).
• Have good knowledge of current HSE legislation and standards.
• Is structured, proactive and solution-oriented.
• Communicates well in Norwegian and English, written and oral.
