Job Details
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Hatchery Manager located in Phuntsholing. The Hatchery Manager will oversee daily operations of the hatchery, ensuring optimal production, health, and well-being of crawfish. Responsibilities include managing hatchery staff, monitoring water quality, maintaining hatchery equipment, and implementing advanced aquaculture techniques. The role also requires overseeing feed management, maintaining detailed records, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and environmental regulations.
Requirements
- Experience in aquaculture, hatchery operations, and management
- Knowledge of water quality monitoring, feed management, and breeding practices
- Skills in team management, organizational planning, and staff supervision
- Proficiency in maintaining and operating hatchery equipment and systems
- Understanding of environmental regulations and health and safety standards
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Background in biology, aquaculture, or a related field is an advantage
- Previous experience in a similar managerial role is preferred
