Fish Expert

Job Details

-You are responsible for the care and maintenance of the fish farm (water parameters, cleaning, sorting, feeding, etc.)
-As an independent personality, you are jointly responsible for the entire production area (in cooperation with the farm manager)
-Process engineering support for the circulation systems (e.g. maintaining water quality, feed management, etc.)
-Ensuring the functionality of the fish farm (operation, adjustment and monitoring)
-Rapid response to error messages from the fish farm's alarm system
-Recording the performance characteristics and condition of the fish and the RAS system (analyses, documentation, logs, etc.)
-Preparatory work such as holding the fish
-Compliance with and enforcement of safety, quality and hygiene regulations
-Employee management
-On-time completion of orders and stock management
-Control and monitoring of the production process
-Goods logistics between production facility and processing

Requirements

- Completed vocational training or experience in a similar position
- Basic knowledge of animal welfare, fish farming, water protection, feed analysis and extraction
- Category B and/or B/E (trailer) driving license and experience in transporting fish

- Forklift driving licence
- Passion for handling fish and conscious use of natural resources
- Efficient and organizational approach paired with a precise, persistent and resilient work attitude, even under time pressure
- Motivated, determined and communicative personality with a high level of hygiene and quality awareness
- Good knowledge of English and German is an advantage
- Good MS Office user skills
