Sales Manager DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland)

Job Details

An important aspect of this role is independent market research and the qualification of opportunities in your market. As our Sales Manager DACH, you will have extensive contact with distributors, whole salers restaurants and chefs, you will work together with our distributors’ sales and marketing teams to increase the demand and work on the perfect network of suppliers for Kingfish products in the area. Previous experience and strong relationships within the network of fish and fine food supply restaurant scene are therefore a must have.

Key responsibilities:

Responsible for generating leads through phone calls, social media, emails and visiting partners, events and HoReCa.

Develop strong knowledge of the company’s products and philosophy to achieve sales success.

Conduct research to identify potential new leads.

Research, track, maintain and update chefs leads database and create a strong sales pipeline.

Make outgoing calls and visit distributors, events,, catering companies, hotels and restaurants to qualify leads and develop new relationships, with and without the collaboration of our established distributors.

Organize and assist with the organization of special events (tastings, chef events etc.) and build relationships with the relevant chef organisations in the market.

Develop our relationships with existing and new distributors across the region for successful business development and growth in and of the Horeca channel for Kingfish in the DACH countries

Requirements

Requirements:
 

• Proven experience and network in the fish and/or fine food industry, in a sales capacity, preferably focusing
  
   

on seafood products to HORECA channel.
 

• Curiosity, passion and taste for fish and seafood
• Ability to travel up to 60% of the time
• Interest in sustainable food systems, knowledge of aquaculture production methods appreciated
• Ability to represent Kingfish brand in a professionally manner, and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations with potential customers, clients, and other stakeholders, in German and English
• Advanced user of Microsoft Pack Office
• native German speaking
