Aquaculture Business Development Engineer

Job Details

The role is directly involved with customer satisfaction and maintenance, as well as identifying, researching and developing new technologies, services, equipment and products, and developing new opportunities for existing or potential customers, and relationships with institutions and companies in the sector.

This position includes inventive activities and research and development activities.

Responsibilities:

• Search for and identify new opportunities that offer gas sales.

• Support the Marketing area in market research and segmentation of the industrial area, with the objective of defining priority strategies and actions for market development.

• Provide technical support to the company's commercial areas, contributing to the development of new clients, opportunities and strategic position in the market.

• Promote and disseminate the company's technologies through participation in technical events.

• Explore opportunities to sell services and equipment, generating revenue for the company.

• Stay up-to-date on new techniques and technologies for the application and use of gases in industry.

• To provide technical support to customers, solving their problems and identifying, creating, developing and offering innovative and value-added technological alternatives.

• Identify, create, improve and develop new products, technologies, services, equipment and applications.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Education: Professional studies in Aquaculture Engineering, Food Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering, Chemistry and/or related field.

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in aquaculture and/or food areas.

• Commercial experience.

• Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Possess a valid Class B driver's license (mandatory requirement).

• Availability for domestic travel.

• Desirable technical knowledge of gas applications/marketing.

• One more thing to consider:

- Knowledge of SAP.

- Proficiency in technical English.
