Job Details

Organise, monitor and record the live prey production

Count live prey

Filtrate and harvest live prey

Daily water filter check and backwash

Work with fish larvae

Daily check of device to ensure that they are functioning properly (lights, Aircons and pumps etc)

Cleaning and housekeeping facilities

Fish handling performed in the hatchery (check the fish, feed the fish and fish handling)

The candidate must be meticulous and independent and he should have the willingness to work with fish

Ability to work on a shift system as and when required (Morning, Afternoon or Night Shift)

Act always to ensure the safety of facilities and fish stock

Take immediate action where possible to resolve facilities and fish stock

Inform Supervisor immediately if any issue cannot be solved and poses a risk to fish survival

Respond promplty to power outrage by following the established power failure procedure

Continue monitoring system after power restoration 

To act as an Polyvalent Staff as and when required by the Management

Requirements

Minimum Year 01

Should be able to understand to write English and French

With minimum experience in the field as aquarist / fish farming

Aquaculture is a must

Selected candidate will be trained for the Maintenance / cleaning of the filters and to work with fish
