Job Details
A Research Support position is available to help operate a 1,000 sq. ft., 5,000 tank zebrafish facility. Assists aquaculture facility technician to feed zebrafish, wash tanks, and perform routine maintenance.
Essential Job Duties
- Feed zebrafish.
- Wash and clean fish tanks.
- Perform routine maintenance in Zebrafish facility.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year work experience in a zebrafish aquaculture facility.
- Must be reliable and have strong work ethic.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong time management skills.
- Clearly understands the workflow and operations of laboratory.
- General knowledge of laboratory support, cleaning products, instruments, and/or equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience with animal care.
