Marine Biologist

Job Details

We are seeking a marine biologist to conduct comprehensive research, monitoring and conservation of marine ecosystems, including biodiversity assessment and the implementation of effective conservation strategies that promote sustainable marine resource management and long term environmental stewardship.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular reef monitoring, fish surveys, and data collection on local biodiversity.
• Manage and expand coral propagation and restoration projects.
• Host engaging presentations, guided snorkeling trips, and marine education sessions for guests.
• Collaborate with resort management on sustainable practices and marine-friendly initiatives
• Report and advise on environmental impact and conservation strategies.
• Liaise with local and international marine research institutions as needed.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of branding, visual identity, and design principles .
• Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) and Microsoft Office .
• Skilled in digital content creation, social media marketing strategy, and visual storytelling .
• Experienced in handling photography, asset management, and print production .
• Excellent project and time management in a fast-paced environment .
• High level of English language communication skills both written and verbal .
• Creative, detail-oriented, and a strong communicator across different platforms and channels .
• Minimum 1-2 years of hospitality marketing experience .
• Adaptable to multicultural island resort environment .
• Goal orientated and able to work as a team.
