Job Details

1. Managing the grow out operations to ensure ideal growth, high survival with effective cost controls
2. Pond preparation with proper scientific approach
3. Ensuring the right quality of influent water for grow out by ensuring proper water treatment, monitoring, and control
4. Ensuring prevention of disease; and implementation of effective protocols to arrest any disease spread
5. Ensuring continual monitoring of pH, salinity, DO and other water parameters
6. Ideal and proper feed management practices whilst ensuring lowest FCR
7. Implementing and ensuring compliance of proper bio security and sanitization protocols
8. Maintaining ideal water and soil hygiene through effective usage of probiotics and other CAA approved products
9. Ensuring effluent water is properly treated as per environmental standards
10. Continual data monitoring, analysis, and addressable actions thereof
11. Adherence to all the SOPs and best management practices
12. Managing a team to run the farm efficiently and with high productivity
13. Ensuring proper cost controls to reduce unnecessary costs
14. Continual training of the team
15. Others as per the needs of the company

Requirements

1. Graduation/ Post-graduation in zoology/ marine biology/ fisheries
2. Minimum of 8+ years of experience as a technician is grow out operations in reputed aquaculture firms
3. Skilled with computers especially MS Excel, MS Word 
4. Languages known English (must), Hindi, Odia (preferable)
