Job Details

As a VETERINARY TECHNICIAN - Aquafeed Sector , you will be responsible for providing technical and veterinary support for the use of feed for aquaculture, ensuring animal welfare and production performance. WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:


 

• Provide veterinary support and nutritional studies in the aquaculture feed sector
• Provide customer assistance on feeding plans, animal welfare and health, and livestock performance at client farms
• Implement and monitor farm biosecurity and hygiene plans
• Analyze production, health and nutritional data
• Support field trials and experimental trials on new products
• Ensure regulatory compliance and propose guidelines in the fields of feed and animal welfare
• Provide training to the sales network

Requirements

WE WOULD LOVE TO MEET YOU IF:
 

• You have obtained a degree in Veterinary Medicine, and are licensed to practice medicine
• You have gained experience, even minimal, in the aquaculture or feed sector
• Learn about the main farmed fish species we are interested in (trout, char, sturgeon, sea bass, gilt-head bream, meagre, etc.)
• You have a good knowledge of the English language
• You have a great passion for the sea or, more generally, for aquatic organisms and environments
• You have a critical mind, good organizational skills and a propensity to work towards objectives
• You are a flexible, pragmatic person and you face challenges with enthusiasm.
• You are available for frequent travel within the assigned national territory
• You are available for planned trips abroad (Central Southern Europe, the Mediterranean Basin and the Caucasus area)
