performance, improving cost-efficiency, and supporting sustainable growth of our
aquaculture systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead formulation strategies for shrimp (vannamei) and marine fish (Barramundi), balancing performance outcomes with cost-efficiency.
- Develop, validate, and continuously optimize high-performance feed formulations for shrimp (Vannamei) and Barramundi based on species-specific nutritional and environmental needs.
- Define nutrient specifications, ingredient inclusion limits, and quality standards aligned with cost, digestibility, and sustainability objectives.
- Manage and optimize feed formulas using advanced feed formulation software
- Collaborate with the Feed Performance & Optimization Manager to evaluate feed efficiency, FCR trends, and animal performance across production sites.
- Translate D&I trial outcomes into commercial feed formulations through structured validation, pilot production, and field verification.
- Incorporate immune enhancers, gut modulators, enzymes, and peptides for performance and health benefits.
- Tailor osmoregulatory support and mineral balance for Red Sea salinity (≈ 40 –42 ppt) and thermal profile; adjust protein/energy/amino acid ratios by season and site.
- Design and lead in-vitro/in-vivo trials; analyze biological data to optimize formulations and feed efficiency.
Requirements
- PhD or MSc in Aquaculture Nutrition, Animal Nutrition, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in feed formulation and nutrition management for shrimp (vannamei) and fish (Barramundi).
- Proficiency in industry-standard formulation software.
- Deep understanding of ingredient specifications, digestibility, and nutrient
