As part of a newly created position, we are looking to expand our team with: AN AQUACULTURE PROJECT MANAGER WITH FOOD EXPERTISE

Missions:

• Providing technical expertise to farmers on feeding strategies and the expression of growth potential
• Analyze the nutritional performance of livestock farms
• Utilize and analyze data and implement performance indicators  
• Assisting with the forecasting and grouping of food orders (scheduling)
• Develop a strong partnership with food suppliers in order to evolve product ranges
• Implement a food quality control plan
• Conducting field monitoring of food trials, alongside livestock farmers
• Facilitating nutrition and performance working groups with livestock farmers

You are the technical expert on zootechnical performance, with a strong focus on the analysis and optimization of feed in fish farming.

You support farmers in the field in the overall control of feed performance within a collective and sustainable framework.

You are the link between farmers and feed suppliers and bring your expertise to a continuous improvement process.

Requirements

Desired profile:

With higher education in aquaculture, animal nutrition or zootechnics, you have acquired significant initial experience in fish farming, in an agricultural livestock cooperative or with a feed manufacturer.

Your technical expertise, your teaching skills, your sense of teamwork and your affinity for the field make you the food expert for our sector with our farmers and our external stakeholders.  

Autonomous and methodical, you are proactive, a strong advocate for your ideas, and your interpersonal skills are recognized.

Category B driving licence required
