Ideally based in Sweden. Full time. Remote & flexible working.
What will you do?
- Implement and update the market strategic plan to deepen market presence and strengthen, defend and promote ASC's value and brand to achieve regional growth targets.
- Forge and strengthen partnerships with key seafood retailers, suppliers and brands to deepen their commitment and preference to the ASC programme - ultimately increasing uptake of both ASC Certification itself, and ASC labelled products!
- Engage and collaborate with NGOs, other certification programmes (ISEAL members) and consumer organisations to build trust and increase awareness of the ASC certification programme to clearly distinguish ASC from competitors.
- Identify and consolidate expectations, feedback, wishes and needs of key commercial partners / stakeholders to demonstrate ASC programme ROI data, impact and value.
- Link commercial partner's marketing & communications efforts to pro-actively promote ASC usage to a wider consumer base.
- Unite with our internal Brand & Marcomms experts to deliver effective, engaging and value-add commercial campaigns and initiatives, as required.
- Work in collaboration with the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) in support of ASC's efforts to service commercial partners and other stakeholders across Nordic regions.
- Represent and promote the ASC in commercial and industry events.
Requirements
- Multilingual Swedish and English (fluent/native speaking) is required. Finnish language skill would be an advantage, but is not essential.
- Degree level qualified and/or experience in commercial markets / account management / business or market development.
- Corporate Sustainability Responsibility (CSR) exposure, awareness or interest is desirable.
- Good commercial experience and/or established network across Nordic (Swedish / Danish / Finish) Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), Food, Seafood, or Retail markets.
- Strong core skills in commercial partnership (account) management, brand presence and development in Nordics and
- Understanding and interest in Certification Programmes / Bodies; how they work and how they can be used to promote change and drive better industry standards
- Sea/food sector, commercial (FGCS) service, retailers, aquaculture / agriculture and/or environmental, sustainability or climate impact sectors or brand experience is desirable.
