Aquaculture Specialist

Job Details

We are looking for an enthusiastic aquaculture specialist to explore innovative solutions in aquaculture nutrition, health, and genetics.

Responsibilities:

• Daily care and husbandry of aquatic animals
• Maintenance of the aquaculture system
• Participate in set-up and design of new trials
• Participate in experimental trials of aquatic animals, not limited to
  • Feeding
  • Husbandry
  • Data collection
  • Data analysis
• Research on aquaculture-related topics
• Assist with sourcing and procurement of equipment and supplies

Requirements

Requirements:

• Diploma in Aquaculture or related fields
• Prior experience in aquaculture or marine science will be an added advantage
• Able to work on weekends and public holidays
• Able to work on St John Island
• Adaptable to different working environments (office and trial sites)
