Assistant Farm Manager

Job Details

The Assistant Farm Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Iloilo, supporting the overall management and day-to-day operations of the farm. This role includes supervising farm staff, coordinating schedules, and monitoring crop and livestock conditions to ensure optimal productivity. The Assistant Farm Manager helps oversee irrigation systems, feed and supply inventories, and maintenance of farm equipment and facilities. Responsibilities also include implementing standard operating procedures, ensuring compliance with safety and biosecurity guidelines, and keeping accurate records of farm activities. The role works closely with the Farm Manager to plan operations, troubleshoot issues, and support continuous improvement of farm processes.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Fisheries, Aquaculture, Marine Science, or any related field.
• Strong knowledge of farm management and operations, including experience working with farms and agricultural systems.
• Skills in agriculture and irrigation, with the ability to oversee crop care, water distribution, and resource use efficiently.
• Experience in aquaculture management, including monitoring animal health, welfare, and production standards.
• Ability to supervise farm staff, coordinate tasks, and maintain clear communication with team members and management.
• Basic understanding of farm equipment use and maintenance, and willingness to perform hands-on tasks when needed.
• Good organizational and record-keeping skills, with attention to detail in scheduling, inventory, and reporting.
• Adaptability to outdoor working conditions and flexibility in working hours based on farm needs.
