About the role:

Fishy Farmers Private Limited is looking for a motivated and energetic fresher to join our team as a Rural Aquaculture Development Intern/Associate.

The selected candidate will support the development and implementation of Integrated Aquaculture Units across Rajanna Sircilla district. The role involves working closely with farmers, financial institutions, government departments, rural development organizations, and community-based institutions.

This is a field-intensive opportunity for candidates interested in rural development, aquaculture, project coordination, and community engagement.

Key responsibilities:

• Coordinate with banks and financial institutions for project financing.
• Support applications and documentation related to relevant government schemes.
• Liaise with government departments and rural development institutions.
• Build relationships with NGOs, Self-Help Groups, Farmer Producer Organizations, cooperatives, and other community institutions.
• Organize awareness meetings and village-level interactions.
• Promote Integrated Aquaculture Units among farmers and rural entrepreneurs.
• Assist with project installation and on-ground implementation.
• Monitor operational units and provide regular progress updates.
• Prepare project documentation, reports, and periodic updates.

Requirements

Training and Stipend:

• Training Period: 3 months
• Monthly Stipend: ₹20,000

Outstanding performers may be considered for a long-term position based on their performance and organizational requirements.

Eligibility:

• Fresh graduates from any discipline are encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work extensively in the field and interact with multiple stakeholders.
• Must own a personal laptop.
• Willingness to relocate to Rajanna Sircilla for the initial three-month training period.
• Ability to communicate in Telugu is essential.
• Knowledge of English and Hindi will be an added advantage.
