Aquatic Environment Project Manager

Job Details

As part of the development of our environmental restoration, ecological continuity, and flood management activities, you will join a multidisciplinary team with cross-cutting missions. As project managers, your missions will include: Managing projects primarily related to the development, conservation, and restoration of aquatic environments and wetlands; Preparing responses to calls for tenders in partnership with the team; Developing environmental assessments (watershed assessment, minimum biological flow, hydromorphological surveys, etc.) and structural assessments (watercourse impact assessment, topographic measurements); Sizing hydraulic structures (fish passes), stream restoration projects, and floodplain extensions; Participating in project management and construction management support missions for aquatic environment restoration projects ; Conducting design studies (preliminary design, detailed design, and construction documents); Drafting regulatory documents (Water Law application). Site Monitoring -

Requirements

Desired Profile: Profile: Graduate of a 5-year engineering degree (ENGEES, Polytech Montpellier, INSA, etc.), specialized Master's degree, or Doctorate, Professional experience in a design office and significant experience in project management (8 to 10 years of experience) Knowledge of aquatic environment ecology and hydromorphology Knowledge of river hydraulics and dimensioning of crossing structures (Hec-Ras, Cassiopée) Knowledge of CAD software (Autocad, Covadis) Knowledge of topography Proficiency in GIS software (Qgis) Qualities: Interpersonal and writing skills, Strong team spirit and ability to synthesize information, Organizational skills (rigor, autonomy, efficiency and sense of priorities), Dynamism, responsiveness, versatility and proactive approach. Managerial skills to supervise technicians and project managers.
