For our Hatchery & Nursery Feeds division, we are looking for a Senior Sales Manager Aquaculture, preferably based within the EMEA region at one of ADM Animal Nutrition’s offices, with flexibility depending on the candidate’s profile and business needs.
In this role, you will work closely with customers and colleagues across functions to develop solutions that support business growth and strengthen long-term partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Promote and sell ADM’s specialized aquaculture feeds and probiotics, with a focus on hatchery and nursery applications.
- Develop and grow sales across the EMEA aquaculture market, especially in fish and shrimp hatcheries, nurseries and early-life-stage production.
- Provide commercial and technical support to customers, helping them select and apply the right nutritional solutions.
- Build, maintain and strengthen long-term relationships with customers, distributors and strategic partners.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in existing and new markets.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activities, technologies and regulatory developments.
- Work closely with customer service, product management, R&D, operations, supply chain and marketing teams.
- Provide accurate annual sales forecasts and update them regularly based on market and customer developments.
- Represent the brand at customer meetings, industry events, trade shows and technical seminars.
Requirements
- Strong aquaculture background, preferably with deep knowledge of hatchery and nursery operations.
- Minimum of 5 years of commercial experience in aquaculture, aquafeed, hatchery feeds, probiotics or related sectors, with experience in the hatchery and nursery segment.
- Good understanding of early-life nutrition, feed performance, hatchery protocols and nursery production challenges.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to translate technical knowledge into business growth.
- Demonstrated hunting mentality with a proven track record of identifying, developing and generating new business opportunities.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are considered an advantage.
- Willingness to travel on average 25%.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
