Position Summary:

As an Aquaculture Technician, you will supports the daily operations of the shrimp farm through animal care, facility upkeep, and routine operational tasks. Successful candidates will be dependable, willing to learn, able to follow procedures carefully, and comfortable working in a team-oriented environment.

No prior aquaculture experience is required. Training will be provided for qualified candidates with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform daily shrimp care and husbandry activities
• Assist with feeding, cleaning, monitoring, and maintaining production systems
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment
• Follow all company biosecurity, safety, and operational procedures
• Complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently after training
• Work both independently and collaboratively with team members
• Support additional farm and operational duties as assigned by supervisors

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain consistent attendance
• Willingness to learn and follow established procedures
• Ability to work in a physically active environment, including indoor and outdoor conditions
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to lift and move equipment and materials as needed
• Previous experience in aquaculture, farming, animal care, labor, or related fields is helpful but not required
• Can legally work in the United States
