Job Profile: Higher Technician specialized in bivalve reproduction, mastering the complete rearing cycle in a marine hatchery. You will manage broodstock conditioning, spawning monitoring, larval rearing (oysters, mussels), and microalgae production. Rigorous and autonomous, you ensure strict compliance with biosecurity protocols and water hygiene standards. Passionate about aquaculture and ready to take on technical challenges, you will directly contribute to the performance and growth of our estabishment

Requirements

🛠️Experience & Qualifications

• Experience: 10+ years of proven experience working strictly in a bivalve hatchery (oysters, mussels, or clams).
• Education level: Open / No specific degree required. Solid, long-term field expertise and a strong track record in hatchery operations are highly valued over formal degrees.
• Languages: Trilingual profile required. Fluency in French, English, and Arabic is essential for communication and technical documentation.
• Mobility: International mobility required. The candidate must be willing and ready to relocate or travel internationally based on operational needs.

🧪 Core Technical Skills

• Expertise: Mastery of broodstock management, induction of spawning, larval culture, and setting/nursery stages.
• Live Feed Production: Deep knowledge of microalgiculture (scale-up, sterile culture techniques, and nutritional optimization).
• Water Quality: Technical mastery of water filtration, UV sterilization, heating/cooling systems, and physico-chemical monitoring (pH, salinity, oxygen).
