Objective
My background is in marine biology and aquaculture genetics and am seeking to contribute my current skillset in molecular biology and reef transect survey field work towards sustainable aquaculture production as well as improving current techniques towards the conservation of our tropical reef ecosystems. My goal is to work closely with the aquaculture industry and using scienctific research to develop practical solutions that can enhance aquaculture production whilst harnessing sustainable approaches. I am interested in cross-disciplinary research including selective breeding of multiple species, finfish physiology, algae production, aquatic health and new species development.
