Objective

My name is Andrew Lange, and I am a dedicated aquaculture professional with a comprehensive background in aquatic systems and marine research. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Aquaculture Science and Technology from James Cook University, where I developed a strong foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of aquaculture.

Currently, I am a Sea Simulator Technician Officer at the Australian Institute of Marine Science, where I am responsible for setting up and maintaining complex aquatic systems for marine research. My role involves experimental design, monitoring water quality, data collection, and collaboration with researchers, contributing to scientific advancements in the field.

Previously, I worked as a Juvenile Technician at Ornatas, focusing on animal husbandry, experimental research, and operational compliance. My experience also includes a position as an Aquaculture Technician at Spring Creek Barramundi, where I managed daily operations and maintained biosecurity protocols.

In addition to my aquaculture experience, I have a diverse background that includes roles as a Disability Support Worker and an Infantry Squad Leader in the United States Marine Corps. These positions have equipped me with strong leadership, management, and interpersonal skills.

I am posting my resume on the World Aquaculture Society employment page to connect with leading organizations and professionals in the industry. My goal is to find new challenges and opportunities where I can apply my expertise, contribute to innovative projects, and further the advancement of sustainable aquaculture practices.
