Dimitrios Lamprou

Farm Manager / ichthyologist

Objective

I was start working in aquaculture units at North Evia, Greece. Two months later i get my first promotion and i became manager of a small group of six people for sea bass fingerling vaccination and sorting in the right cages. One year later i get me second promotion and i was moved at the headquarters of the company at Koropi, Athens Greece. I became assistant manager of catch schedule, a position that requires strong leadership abilities because you have to organize all aquaculture, fishing and packaging units of the company. Also i had the full responsibility of the final product and the delivery at the correct time to company's distribution center. Due to the response of the final product i also learn some things about the quality control of sea bass, sea bream and pargus. It is a job that you must stay alert all day and night and always had a back up plan.

After five years of work i decided to start something new on my own out of the branch of aquaculture and try something totally different. Finally i decided that aquaculture is this that i am good at and i loved to work on this branch.

I would like to have new challenges and experiences that they need vision and hard work.
