Stephanie King

Objective

I am a recent graduate from Oregon State University (OSU), where I completed my Professional Science Master's in Fish and Wildlife Management with a focus on sustainable aquaculture. During my time at OSU I worked at the Hatfield Marine Science Center's Newport Aquaculture Lab, where I aided in Pacific dulse (Palmaria mollis) research. This research included the development and testing of a novel aeroponics system, that was then published as a note in the World Aquaculture Society Magazine March 2023 edition.

I am looking to continue my work in sustainable aquaculture by focusing on cultivation systems. I have experience with growing oysters and macroalgae, but am open to new species and cultivation systems.
