Eram Talent is looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable professional for the position of Life Support Systems - Aquaculture & Marine Nurseries in Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and enhancement of life support systems crucial for aquaculture and marine nursery environments. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring optimal conditions for marine life and supporting various aquatic projects.
This position entails close collaboration with the aquaculture production team, IT personnel, and other stakeholders to design, implement, and troubleshoot life support systems. If selected, the job location will be onsite at Saudi Arabia.
- Manage and monitor life support systems for aquaculture and marine nursery applications.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures for maintaining water quality and environmental conditions.
- Conduct regular system inspections and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance of all life support systems.
- Collaborate with aquaculture specialists to improve system designs and mitigate risks associated with marine life sustainability.
- Assist in the training of staff on the operation and maintenance of life support technologies.
- Stay informed about advancements in life support technologies and recommend upgrades as appropriate.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors for maintenance and system upgrades.
- Prepare reports and documentation for system performance and compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Marine Biology, Aquaculture, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience working with life support systems in aquaculture, marine nurseries, or related sectors.
- Strong understanding of aquatic ecosystems, water chemistry, and system engineering.
- Hands-on experience with recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS), filtration, and water quality monitoring systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and perform routine maintenance on aquatic life support systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to work collaboratively within a team.
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting software to enhance operational efficiency.
- Capacity to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations regarding marine systems and aquatic life.
