As Site Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Nagato aquaculture facility, ensuring the efficient and sustainable production of sea urchins. This role involves managing the facility's staff, implementing production strategies, maintaining equipment, monitoring water quality, and adhering to relevant regulations. The Site Manager plays a critical role in creating a culture centered on achieving production targets while upholding strict environmental and quality standards.


Requirements

- 3 years minimum of experience in aquaculture operations, with progressively increasing responsibilities.

- Bachelor's degree or strong background in Aquaculture, Aquatic production, Plant management or related field.

- Strong understanding of aquaculture production systems, aquatic biology, and water quality management, production, and process management. Six-Sigma certified advantageous.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Familiarity with relevant regulations and biosecurity protocols.

- Proficiency in data analysis, record-keeping, and computer skills.

- Physical ability to work in aquatic environments and perform necessary tasks.

- Willingness to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

- Fluency in Japanese
