Copper has been historically used to treat cage nets in salmon farms. Recent developments include alternative net materials that can survive repeated cleaning. However, there remain significant operational cost advantages to using an antifoulant.  The paper presents the integration of polymers and alternative biocides to combat net fouling. Methods of treatment and efficacy will be discussed.
