The supply of eggs and fry is one of the major constraints in the future development of aquaculture. Broodstock management requires complete control of the reproductive biology for year-round spawning of the fish.  For continuous and sustainable production of juveniles in good quality required of broodstock in sufficient quantity and of good quality. In this study, the reproductive performance of  striped catfish (Pangasianodon hypophthalmus) of different ages broodstock was evaluated  in terms of broodstock maturation number, ovulation rate,  hatching rate, and larval survival. Two age groups of  striped catfish were used in the study, namely,  6 and 3 years old. The age of broodstock significantly affected broodstock maturation number and ovulation rate.  No significant difference was observed among  the different broodstock in terms of hatching rate and larval survival.
